Description

A fine Victorian portrait of a bearded man in a fine pinstripe suit with tail coat and the gold chain of his pocket watch visible. Sulis Fine Art acquired this portrait as part of a pair, the other being of the man's wife, painted facing towards her husband. The painting is unsigned and presented in a 20th Century frame. On canvas.

Condition

There is some darkening to the varnish and some areas of restoration.
