A Yorkshire landscape near the village of Egton. Presented glazed in a washline mount and a distressed gilt-effect wooden frame. Monogrammed 'E.P.J.' and dated to the lower-left corner. Inscribed with the location on the backing wove at the centre of the lower edge. There is a later label on the verso inscribed 'Miss Outhwaite'. On watercolour paper laid to backing wove.
Condition
There is some slight discolouration and cockling to the substrate. There are some small tears to the backing wove and some scuffs and scratches to the frame.
