A fine example of an early 20th Century Baxter method print, showing an elderly woman being escorted up a hill by a young lady where a soldier on duty guards the Garrison at the top. The print is presented in a gilt frame with gold card mount. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some dirt trapped behind the glazing and the frame has tarnishing and chipping typical for its age.
