A fine and detailed watercolour, depicting a landscape view with mountains, trees and two cottages in the distance. There is an inscription to the reverse with artist's name, however, it is mostly illegible. Location inscribed reads 'New Zealand'. Presented in a card mount and in a gilt effect frame with moulding applications. Unsigned. On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including discolouration and minor surface marks. Foxing and marks to the mount. There are some scuffs and marks to the frame, mainly to the corners.
