A well painted late 19th century watercolour study of the grade II listed Chichester Market Cross, located in the centre of Chichester, West Sussex. Built as a meeting place for the poor, the market cross was somewhere for all to sell their wares freely and find shelter. This fine watercolour painting is well presented in a white card mount and simple gilt frame. Glazed.
