An interesting early 19th century study of two Egrets. Delicately composed with detailed brushstrokes and a subtle handling of tone and form. Very well presented in a double card mount with washline and gilt frame. Signed indistinctly, On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing. With some light fading to the substrate. Very minor marks to the frame.
