An early 19th /possibly late 18th century watercolour depicting two figures resting by a lakeside. With their backs to the viewer, the two figures are seen looking curiously across the large stretch of water into the dramatic extend landscape beyond. Unsigned. The painting is well presented in a cotton white mount and contemporary gilt frame. Glazed. On paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is a small closed tear along the lower edge, close to the mount. The overall condition of the picture is very good.
