A charming collection of twelve graphite drawings from a sketchbook, some with sepia watercolour washes, depicting diverse subjects which the artist likely painted on their travels. Titled scenes include 'A View from the Isle of Wight', 'Cross at Cherwell, Gloucestershire', and 'Saltash, Cornwall'. In total, four are inscribed with locations, four dated 1841, two dated 1842, and five initialled 'J.P'.
There is some mild foxing and discolouration to all. Overall in good condition.
