John Bailey is an English artist and watercolourist based in the Cotswolds. Bailey is influenced by artists such as Fletcher-Watson, Trevor Waugh, John Christian. Bailey says of his work "My first love is watercolour because of its freedom, freshness and fluidity and because it has a life of its own. I do most of my painting “en plein air” on the spot and like the immediacy of painting outdoors". Bailey currently teaches watercolour classes from his home and continues to exhibit locally.
