A very fine, delicate and detailed watercolour painting with pencil and gum arabic. The scene depicts two Comma butterflies flying over tall grass. Monogrammed and dated to the lower margin. There is a label to the reverse inscribed with the artist's name, date and medium. Well-presented in a white card mount and in a simple wooden frame. On watercolour paper.
