Description

A fine etching by Marcel Jaques from the Barbizon school of artists.

The etching depicts a farmer taking her sheep out to graze, and in inscribed underneath in french. The etching has strong plate marks, and ta mount board which houses both the print and the inscribed french text separately.

The etching is presented in a thin wood frame with a gilded inner window and glazing.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.
