In good condition overall, with some discolouration and light surface marks. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. Small scuffs and marks to the frame.

This artist was the wife of John Edwards, and as yet we know little about her. Under her painting name of Yram Allets (Mary Stella backwards) she is listed in exhibition catalogues held by STISA (St Ives Society of Artists) for 1959. Both Stella and John Edwards were active in Cornwall in the 1960's and 1970's.
