This accomplished still life scene depicts a glass bowl filling with lemons, a bottle of liquor and a teapot in a dark interior. The artist captures the reflections in the metal of the teapot, showing a keen attention to detail within the composition. Marked with an 'ESK' blindstamp meaning 'Examined South Kensington', the art school that later became the Royal College of Art in London. Presented in a glazed gilt frame with a green card mount.
