The artist has taken extra care in capturing the bountiful forest greenery, showing a variety of tones and textures in the trees and shrubbery. Signed to the lower right. The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some very light craquelure to the upper left corner. There are canvas repairs at the reverse which have been fully restored at the front.
