Description

A view of two monks, one tasting some food from a pan with a delighted expression. In the manner of Edvard von Grutzner (1846-1925). Presented in an oak frame with a gilt-effect inner edge. Signed to the lower-right edge. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

There is extensive discolouration. Inspection under UV light reveals areas of restoration. There is splitting to the upper left corner of the internal slip.
