Description
An engraving with hand colouring depicting an interior scene in Exeter Cathedral, looking across the nave, by William Deeble (1814-1829) after Henry Shaw (1800-1873). Presented glazed in a wash line mount and a Hogarth-style frame. Inscribed with the names of both artists, title, and publication information and date in plate to the lower edge. On wove.Condition
There is some discolouration, mount burn, and a mild water stain to the lower edge. There is some slight debris trapped beneath the glazing and some chips to the frame.
