Description

An engraving with hand colouring depicting an interior scene in Exeter Cathedral, looking across the nave, by William Deeble (1814-1829) after Henry Shaw (1800-1873). Presented glazed in a wash line mount and a Hogarth-style frame. Inscribed with the names of both artists, title, and publication information and date in plate to the lower edge. On wove.

Condition

There is some discolouration, mount burn, and a mild water stain to the lower edge. There is some slight debris trapped beneath the glazing and some chips to the frame.
